XP & Levels

Everything you do in Level earns you XP (experience points). As your XP grows, you progress through three tiers that change the look and feel of your entire app. Leveling up is not just a number — it is a visual transformation that reflects your dedication.

How you earn XP

Here is every way to earn XP in Level:

ActionXP earned
Complete a workout+50 XP
Complete a weekly check-in+30 XP
Log food (once per day max)+10 XP
Hit a 7-day streak+100 XP (one-time bonus)
Hit a 30-day streak+250 XP (one-time bonus)
Hit a 100-day streak+500 XP (one-time bonus)

A few things to know:

  • Workout XP is awarded each time you complete a workout and log your results. There is no limit to how many workouts you can earn XP from.
  • Check-in XP is awarded when you submit your weekly check-in at the end of each training week.
  • Food log XP is capped at one award per day. Logging multiple meals in the same day does not give you extra XP — it is about the habit of tracking, not the volume.
  • Streak bonuses are one-time awards. Once you earn the 7-day streak bonus, you will not receive it again even if your streak resets and you rebuild it.

The three levels

Your total XP determines your level. There are three tiers, each with its own name, color theme, and personality:

Level 1 — Foundation (Emerald)

0 to 499 XP

This is where everyone starts. The emerald green theme is fresh, encouraging, and welcoming. You are building your foundation — learning how your coach works, getting into a routine, and establishing habits.

At this level, your app uses an emerald color palette. Buttons, accents, progress indicators, and the sidebar all reflect this green theme.

Level 2 — Ascend (Amber)

500 to 1,999 XP

You have earned your stripes. The amber theme represents energy, momentum, and elevation. By the time you reach Level 2, you have completed multiple workouts, established a food logging habit, and likely hit your first streak milestone.

When you level up to Ascend, your entire app transforms to an amber/gold color palette. It is a visual reward that shows your progress at a glance.

Level 3 — Summit (Red)

2,000+ XP

This is the top tier. The red theme is intense, elite, and battle-tested. Reaching Summit means you have put in serious work — hundreds of workouts, consistent nutrition tracking, and long streaks.

The red palette signals mastery. There is no level beyond Summit — once you reach it, you have proven your commitment.

Leveling up

When you earn enough XP to cross a level threshold, several things happen:

  1. Confetti celebration — A burst of confetti in your new level’s color fills the screen
  2. Level-up notification — A message announces your new level and tier name
  3. Theme change — Your app’s color scheme immediately switches to the new level’s palette. Every screen, button, and accent color updates
  4. Badge unlock — You earn the “Level 2 Unlocked” or “Level 3 Unlocked” badge

The theme change is the most visible reward. It means every time you open Level, you see a reminder of how far you have come.

Checking your XP

You can see your current XP, level, and progress toward the next level on your dashboard. The XP display shows:

  • Your current total XP
  • Your current level and tier name
  • How much XP you need to reach the next level (if you are not yet at Summit)

Your recent XP activity is also visible, so you can see exactly what earned you points.

How fast can you level up?

It depends on how active you are. Here is a rough guide:

  • Working out 4 times a week = 200 XP/week from workouts alone
  • Logging food daily = 70 XP/week
  • Weekly check-ins = 30 XP/week
  • Total baseline = about 300 XP/week

At that pace, you would reach Level 2 (Ascend) in about 2 weeks and Level 3 (Summit) in about 7 weeks. Streak milestones add bonus XP on top, so you could get there faster.

The system is designed so that consistent users see real progress within their first month, while the top tier requires sustained commitment over several weeks.
