Badges

Badges are achievement markers that celebrate key milestones in your fitness journey. There are 9 badges to earn across four categories: workouts, streaks, levels, and nutrition. Once you earn a badge, it is yours forever β€” badges are never revoked.

All badges

Here is every badge available in Level and how to earn it:

Workout badges

BadgeNameHow to earn it
πŸ’ͺFirst WorkoutComplete your first workout
πŸ‹οΈ100 WorkoutsComplete 100 workouts total

First Workout is the badge most people earn first. Just finish your first workout, log your results, and it is yours. 100 Workouts is a long-term goal β€” it rewards sustained commitment over weeks or months of training.

Streak badges

BadgeNameHow to earn it
πŸ”₯7-Day StreakMaintain a 7-day workout streak
⚑30-Day StreakMaintain a 30-day workout streak
πŸ†100-Day StreakMaintain a 100-day workout streak

Streak badges reward consistency. Remember, rest days do not break your streak β€” only missed scheduled workouts do. See Streaks for details on how streaks are counted.

The 100-Day Streak badge is the rarest badge in Level. Earning it means you completed every scheduled workout for over three months straight.

Level badges

BadgeNameHow to earn it
⭐Level 2 UnlockedReach Intermediate level (500 XP)
πŸ‘‘Level 3 UnlockedReach Advanced level (2,000 XP)

Level badges are earned automatically when your total XP crosses a level threshold. See XP & Levels for the full breakdown of how XP and levels work.

Nutrition badges

BadgeNameHow to earn it
🍎First Food LogLog your first food entry
πŸ₯”50 Food LogsLog food on 50 different days

Nutrition badges reward the habit of tracking what you eat. First Food Log is earned the moment you log your first food item. 50 Food Logs counts unique days β€” logging multiple meals in one day counts as one day toward this badge.

Viewing your badges

You can see all your badges on the Settings page. Each badge is displayed as a card showing:

  • The badge icon
  • The badge name
  • Earned badges show the date they were earned and appear in full color
  • Locked badges appear dimmed with a β€œLocked” label and their description showing what you need to do

The badge display also shows a count of how many badges you have earned out of the total available (for example, β€œ3 of 9 badges earned”).

Earning celebrations

When you earn a new badge, Level celebrates with you:

  • A confetti pop fills the screen
  • A notification appears announcing the badge you just earned, with its name and description
  • If you earn a badge at the same time as a level-up, the level-up celebration plays first, followed by the badge notification a moment later

Badge strategy

If you are looking to earn badges efficiently, here is a natural progression:

  1. First Workout β€” Earned on day one
  2. First Food Log β€” Log a meal on your first day
  3. 7-Day Streak β€” Complete your scheduled workouts for one week
  4. Level 2 Unlocked β€” Usually earned within the first 2 weeks with regular training and food logging
  5. 30-Day Streak β€” One month of consistent training
  6. 50 Food Logs β€” About two months of daily food tracking
  7. Level 3 Unlocked β€” Usually earned around 6-8 weeks with consistent use
  8. 100 Workouts β€” Depends on your training frequency. At 4 workouts per week, this takes about 25 weeks
  9. 100-Day Streak β€” The ultimate consistency badge. Over 3 months of completing every scheduled workout

You do not need to chase badges β€” they will come naturally as you use Level consistently. The system is designed so that just showing up and following your plan earns you everything over time.
